Job Description
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the agricultural machinery sector.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback as needed.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors, understanding their needs and providing solutions that align with company offerings.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities, informing strategic decision-making and product development efforts.
- Sales Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast sales volumes, develop annual sales plans, and allocate resources effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
- Pricing and Contract Negotiation: Set pricing strategies for agricultural machinery products, negotiate contracts, and manage pricing policies to optimize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports for senior management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, agricultural sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
- Significant experience (typically 5-10 years) in sales leadership roles within the agricultural machinery industry or related sectors, demonstrating a track record of success in driving sales growth and managing sales teams.
- Thorough understanding of agricultural machinery products, including tractors, combines, harvesters, and other equipment, as well as knowledge of farming practices and agricultural trends.
- Strong sales acumen, with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including team management, coaching, and performance management skills, with a collaborative and motivational approach to driving results.English Level
