    Job Description and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
    • Reach annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
    • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
    • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
    • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
    • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    Job Qualifications, Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four-year college in Business or related field.
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in polymer industry or similar industries such as biochemical, biodegradable preferred.
    • General knowledge of various supply chains and procurement preferred.
    • Computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite; Sales Force.com; SAP preferred.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
    • Ability to work with various buyers to source product samples and help manage inventory in lab preferred.
    • Ability to interact at multiple levels and departments in large, complex organizations.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and participate in a continuous improvement culture, including problem solving skills.
    • Strong business acumen and interpersonal profession interaction, fluency in project processes and problem solving, presentation skills.
    • Willingness to perform leadership duties in a new team; strong organizational skills, especially in limited resources setting preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present technical data.
