  Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the R&D team in researching and developing new technologies, innovative solutions, and products related to Smart Transportation.
  • Develop and manage the R&D roadmap, research plans, priorities, and project timelines in alignment with the company's business direction.
  • Identify emerging technologies and market trends, particularly in AI, intelligent systems, automation, IoT, and Smart Transportation, and evaluate their potential applications.
  • Initiate and develop concepts for new products and solutions, translating technology opportunities and business requirements into practical R&D projects.
  • Lead the development of innovative products such as smart lighting systems, intelligent signage, smart traffic-related equipment, and other AI-enabled transportation solutions.
  • Define initial product concepts, technical requirements, project scope, and expected outcomes together with relevant engineering and technical teams.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, technology partners, suppliers, research institutions, and external developers where required to support R&D projects.
  • Monitor the progress of R&D projects from research and concept development through prototype, testing, improvement, and preparation for product deployment.
  • Review and evaluate prototypes, test results, technical feasibility, and potential improvements to ensure that developed solutions meet required functionality and business objectives.
  • Explore opportunities to apply AI and data-driven technologies to improve transportation systems, operational efficiency, safety, monitoring, and user experience.
  • Prepare and present R&D progress, technology evaluations, project proposals, and recommendations to management.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies, industry developments, and innovations in Smart Transportation and identify opportunities for future product development.
