Job Description
- Prepare business plan or activities of department or business unit in complying
- Define key performance indicators of the department/section
- Monitor and following up the performance of department or section in complying with business plan
- Give recommendation in problems solving, job improvement and development
- Coordinating with the related parties to solve the problems of department or section
- Presenting the project for developing of work process, equipment, etc. to the superior
- Preparation of summarized performance report and submit to the superior as well as participating in the meeting to present work performance to the company's executives
- Manage end-to-end sea import operations (FCL/LCL) to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Review and verify import documents and customs declarations for full regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, carriers, ports, and warehouses for DO collection, clearance, and cargo release.
- Handle and resolve operational issues including red-line cases, inspections, EDI errors, or short/damaged cargo.
- Maintain customer service quality, providing timely updates and issue resolution.
- Control operational costs and prevent unnecessary charges such as demurrage, detention, or storage.
- Lead and supervise the team, including task allocation, coaching, performance evaluation, and development.
- Review and approve operational expenses within assigned authority levels.
- Monitor KPIs and operational performance, prepare reports, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Analyze and plan for the section's annual budget
- Prepare for staff's job description and KPI within the responsible department
- Define and update working standard and procedure of department/ section in accordance with related standard and policy
Qualifications
Requirement
[Must]
- Bachelor degree in Business Admistration, International Business, Marketing , Logistics or Related fields
- At least 5 years as Ocean freight import and Customs Clearance. Experience in supervising or leading in import operations is required.
- Good Command of Written and spoken English and computer literacy
- Strong knowledge of import regulation, HS code classification, BOI, FTA preferential dutiesEnglish Level
