  • Job Description

    - Develop and implement a comprehensive purchasing and supply chain strategy aligned with company goals, establishing long-term objectives and KPIs.
    - Oversee and manage the Procurement Department, ensuring cost-effectiveness, supplier reliability, and on-time delivery performance.
    - Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure accurate purchasing documentation and smooth operations.
    - Manage delivery schedules, shipment tracking, inspection, and acceptance processes to ensure material readiness and quality.
    - Lead and monitor compliance with IATF and ISM systems related to purchasing operations.
    - Prepare short- and long-term SCM strategic plans, including budget management and resource allocation.
    - Evaluate and enhance supplier performance through audits, visits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    - Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive terms while maintaining quality and long-term relationships.
    - Ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies, quality standards, and external regulations.
    - Develop and coach team members to enhance their competency and drive performance excellence.
    - Provide regular reports, cost analyses, and performance updates to management and regional HQ.
    - Participate actively in cross-departmental and company-wide projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Must】
    - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    - Over 7 years of progressive experience in Purchasing / Procurement, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
    - Experience in automotive and/or electronic parts procurement and supplier management.
    - Japanese: JLPT N3 or above; English: proficiency in English communication.

    【Advantage】
    - Experience with MRP/ERP, WMS, and SAP systems.
    - Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
    - Experience in strategic planning and a proactive, accountable work approach.
