Job Description
1. Conduct market research to understand market/customer requirements, business opportunities and threats in order to develop potential trade lanes in line with the business plan.2. Focus on New and Existing business/Accounts by arranging meetings with potential customers, providing customers with comprehensive quotations outlining solutions with accurate pricing with the objective of securing sales.3. Guide the team to Provide feedback received from customers through customer survey and one-to-one interviews to support product development & enhance service performance.4. Strengthen relationship with customers by way of directing the team for regular customer engagements and thereby to improve customer retention.5. Engage in CRM based evaluations through Inquiries, calls visit plans, in CRM and action plans to meet or exceed monthly sales targets/budgets.6. Provide/share information to/with internal and external stakeholders (customers, principal) in an accurate, consistent and timely manner in order to meet Key Performance Indicators, inter department service standards etc to enhance customers satisfaction and improve service standards.7. Ensure agent long term agent/partner relationships are built with continuous engagements.8. Contribute to the Continuous Improvement process throughout the organization by introducing changes in order to improve products, services and processes.9. Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.10. Engage in developing and overlooking Sea Freight, Air Freight and Cross broader products.11. Follow all company OHS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Identify and report potential hazards in your work area. Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of control measures. Report any OHS incidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions immediately. Participate in incident investigations and provide accurate information. Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a safe work environment. Communicate any OHS concerns or suggestions to your supervisor or OHS representative. Actively participate in OHS initiatives and programs.12. Ensure debtor collections within credit period and coordinate with debt collecting team and the overall team.13. Ensure all credit approvals with accurate details and supporting documents and update credit approvals in timely manner in respect of existing customers.
