- Participating in meetings with senior management regarding project objectives, studying the project and potential impacts to prepare personnel, machinery, and locations.- Construction plans and specifications.- Scope of Work in contracts.- Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in contracts.- Construction specifications.- Assessing the suitability of project personnel (project personnel chart).- Approving site plans based on management's summary (after signing the contract with the client).- Approving the layout in the camp.- Planning machinery preparation for camp opening and preparing construction camp materials.- Approving Shop Drawings and clearing construction plans.- Approving As-Built Drawings for actual details for client delivery.- Resource Acquisition (Post-Tender and Agreement with the Client):- Supervising and procuring materials for construction operations.- Supervising construction camp operations (by self-operation or subcontractor).- Supervising the construction of accommodation and temporary offices for the client with complete equipment according to contract conditions.- Studying designs from the contract summary with the client.- Supervising the survey to find reference points for new plans.- Checking work details to compare with received plans for agreement with the client on practices.- Summarizing survey work and comparing plans to actual job conditions to meet client requirements.- Managing project operations in all areas to ensure smooth operation within the specified cost and time.- Coordinating policy-related problem-solving with the client.- Checking and approving construction areas from the client to start work as per the contract.- Approving staff hiring.- Approving materials, tools, and equipment for construction control and inspection.- Checking Safety equipment installations (signs, barriers, flashing warning lights, temporary warning signs, caution signs, mandatory signs) at clear points for responsibilities.- Checking construction area clearing, like grass cutting and area preparation.- Monitoring and controlling construction progress as per plans.- Deciding on emergency situation problem-solving.- Daily and weekly feedback and inspection.- Managing and controlling employee attendance, leaves, and punctuality.- Ensuring employees adhere to company regulations and policies.- Evaluating staff performance for position and salary adjustments.- Conducting internal meetings for communication and training.- Tracking, evaluating, and controlling department performance to meet short-term and long-term goals.- Holding regular meetings to review and assess departmental performance.- Developing a continuous plan for personnel knowledge and capability enhancement through training, certification, and advice.- Training and mentoring subordinates for skill development and utilizing their full potential.- Providing decision-making options and recommendations.
