Job description:• Serve as a key point of contact between customers, the Japan head office, and relevant internal functions to ensure effective order fulfillment and address delivery concerns in a timely manner.• Ensure timely availability of customer demand forecasts and other relevant information to support order planning, meet required lead times, and minimize the risk of delivery disruptions.• Evaluate market conditions, customer requirements, material availability, and sales projections to identify business implications and provide relevant information for internal decision-making.• Manage commercial discussions with customers and the Japan head office, including pricing and business terms, with the objective of achieving appropriate profitability.• Oversee customer evaluation activities arising from Product Change Notifications (PCNs), following up on each case until the required evaluation and related actions are fully completed.• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with the Japan head office and concerned departments to address PCN issues, determine the appropriate course of action, prioritize critical matters, and ensure closure within the required timeframe.• Take ownership of product and logistics claims by facilitating communication among customers, the Japan head office, quality assurance, and sales teams, and by supporting investigations, root-cause identification, corrective actions, and final closure.• Initiate and oversee improvement projects and new initiatives within the sales function to enhance work processes, efficiency, and overall business operations.• Strengthen customer service performance at the organizational level by gathering customer feedback through satisfaction surveys, evaluating the results, and translating findings into opportunities for service improvement.
