    PERFORMANCE
     Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance through proper pricing and market mix management
    o Analyze competitive reports and formulate appropriate strategies through use of
    o reports, Hotelligence, etc.
     Develop overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels.
    o Provide guidance on Corporate FIT negotiated pricing, Group pricing for each
    o group, and Leisure FIT and Group pricing.
    o Ensure effective pricing strategies
     Effectively manage and be on control of all inventory (FITs, groups, wholesalers allotments and others) and pricing strategy in all distribution channels including branded websites, 3rd Party sites, TARS, and the GDS.
    o Lead the Director of Sales in the decision making process of promotion participation, offline contracts and pricing thereof.
    o Closely monitor competitive pricing and understand the impact of relative pricing decisions on property performance.
    o Review and analyze data on an ongoing basis
    o Includes but not limited to Rooms Pick up Pace, Group Backlog, Geographic Data, etc.
    IMPLEMENTATION AND STANDARDS
    Responsible for effective implementation and compliance with Accor Revenue Management Standards.
    o Maintain the accuracy and timely entry of all relevant data on the Revenue plan (if any).
    o Complete understanding and effective execution of current and new RM tools.
    o Includes PMS, TARS, Sales & Catering System (if any), any new or similar tools or reports developed in 2005 and future years.
    o Take a key role in property PMS conversions.
    o Compliance to Accor Standards for Rate Plans, Rate Categories, Market Segments,
    profiles and all other PMS related RM functionalities. Ensure accurate and timely entry of rate plans.
    COMMUNICATION
    o Set up a Revenue Management Committee.
    o Clearly communicate to hotel team the strategic vision and objectives on how to drive revenues and
    improve performance.
    o Ensure hotel team members understand the concept of Revenue Management and their roles.
    o Provide the hotel team with regular updates on hotel performance to include market share market
    segments mix, geographic source of business , etc.
    KEY MEETINGS
    o Lead the property’s weekly Revenue Management/Statusing Meeting and contribute to the operations
    Meeting.
    o Provide Executive committee with regular revenue management update.
    o Take a strong leadership role in the Monthly Forecasting Meetings.
    PLANNING
    o Produce accurate forecast on weekly and monthly basis (as determined by the hotel DFA)
    o Produce all relevant components of the Budget pertaining to Revenue Management
    o Validate competitive set RevPAR forecast by month to ensure effective soft spot calendar planning.
    o Identify and develop promotions and strategies
    o Lead the DOS in participation in online/offline strategies
    PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT
    o Recruit, train and mentor
    o Assist in developing a career path for direct reports.

    o To fill this position the candidate must have strong leadership and analytical skills. Specific
    o Requirements include;
    o Ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing market with a revenue positive effect.
    o Be proactive in achieving Rooms Revenue goals.
    o Relevant experience in Revenue Management . Hotel Reservation operations experiencea plus.
    o Analytical approach to problem solving and demonstrated ability to “think outside of the box”.
    o Ability to analyze financial statements and market data.
    o Detail orientated and hands on.
    o Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
    o Require excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong command of
    o English in both.
    o Effective ability to supervise, motivate and develop associates.
    o Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.
    o Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
    o Must possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) PMS, Sales &
    Catering System (if any) and TARS.
