  -Review and communication all purchasing tasks as issued by Supply Chain Manager for production, spare parts and consumables and follow up corrective action from concerned department.
  -Lead the plan purchasing team and improve team capability.
  -Drive cost saving productivity and work together with purchasing team to implement cost saving projects and prepare the monthly cost saving report.
  -Negotiates with supplier and collaborates with contractors/ suppliers to resolve technical and commercial issues associated with orders.
  -Procure and manage the purchasing order for goods and services procurement especially direct & indirect raw material, machine, spare parts, repairs and transportation according to company's requirement with the right quality, quantities, price, sources and delivery date.
  -Follow up the delivery progress of the purchase, if any amendment on the delivery date, immediately notifies the related departments.
  -Monitors any issues that could potentially stop production and communicates relevant departments.
  -Carrying out investigations related to production part shortages causing production line stop with a view to ensuring corrective action is advised and implemented.
  -Co-ordinates with all other departments to the benefit of the whole company.
  -Responsible for progressing and writing purchasing procedures.
  -Manage vendor effectiveness, sets up vendor assessment mechanisms, timely reviews and monitors its performance and integrity to meet business requirements and standard.
