Job Description
Responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting and financial functions of an automotive parts manufacturing/assembly plant, including tax planning, financial reporting, and production cost control (Cost Accounting) in accordance with accounting standards and applicable laws. Manage the accounting team to support company growth. Has 5 direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual month-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Prepare and review financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for management and relevant government agencies.
- Review accounting entries including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and fixed assets.
- Control and analyze production cost accounting (standard costing and actual costing) for the automotive industry.
- Perform variance analysis for cost differences (e.g., materials, labor, manufacturing overhead) and recommend cost-reduction measures.
- Plan, prepare, and manage the annual budget in coordination with management and production.
- Manage tax planning and compliance (e.g., corporate tax filings and withholding taxes) in accordance with tax laws.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure smooth audits and compliance.
- Oversee tax incentives and investment-related tax benefits such as BOI incentives, if applicable.
- Lead and develop the accounting team, improve internal controls, define and track accounting KPIs, and coordinate ERP usage (e.g., SAP, Oracle, AX) with other factory departments.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in an accounting managerial role within an automotive manufacturing or assembly plant.
- Holding a valid CPD accounting license; CPA qualification is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in factory cost accounting and Thai Accounting Standards (TAS/TFRS).
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP FI/CO or Oracle (proven practical experience).
