  Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop the procurement and sourcing team at the local site, striving to continuously reduce purchasing costs and achieve department- and company-level KPIs and goals.
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with suppliers in one or more assigned categories.
  • Work closely with Engineering, PMO, and relevant functional teams to support product development efforts, influence sourcing decisions, lead make-vs.-buy assessments and recommendations, and meet customer expectations, technical capabilities, and program objectives.
  • Manage the Approved Vendor List for assigned categories and custom components, including supplier selection, qualification, and contract negotiation.
  • Draft and negotiate contractual agreements, including terms and conditions.
  • Develop assigned category roadmaps that align program and business requirements with supplier capabilities.
  • Maintain professional knowledge of category technology trends through rigorous analysis of industry drivers, cost structures, technical improvements, and the competitive landscape.
  • Ensure supplier readiness and continuity of supply throughout the entire product life cycle.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
