• Job Description

  1. Handling customer requests from Southeast Asia (SEA) on product safety and regulatory (PSR) topics.
  2. Support the Head of PSR SEA on all PSR related issues and customer / brand owner interaction.
  3. Perform data analysis to support product safety & regulatory requirements and product/substance notification, if required.
  4. Take responsibility to perform chemical compliance obligations (e.g., reporting, notification) in Southeast Asia region (especially Thailand and Vietnam).
  5. Understand, interpret and communicate the applicable chemical regulatory requirements to internal stakeholders.
  6. Closely monitor on regulatory changes in Southeast Asia (especially in Thailand and Vietnam) that may impact existing product portfolio and communicate it to internal stakeholders.
  7. Supporting the Raw Material Introduction process and act as a consultant to the Technology / Technical Team on this subject.
  8. Act as Local EHS User in SAP for SAP related function (SDS issuance, Statement of Composition issuance, DG Master block problem, compliance assessment, Label problem related to GHS picture / pictogram, etc.)
  9. Maintain all the regulatory management records, certificates/permits for product/chemical registration/notification to support both internal and external regulatory audits.
  10. Advocacy with authorities and external stakeholders (e.g., association) in design of regulations and industry codes of practice in product safety.
  11. Support the implementation of all relevant PSR related group standards and processes in SEA such as Raw Material codification, etc. including internal auditing on these.
