  • Job Description

    - Travel to customer site to install and repair laser products.
    - Training and providing technical support to customers.
    - Report discrepancies, unresolved or recurrent problems to the supervisor.
    - Understand technical documentation, schematics and blueprints, as to utilize them in field support.
    - Provide regular reports and feedback to the supervisor.
    - Accurately identify system problems from the information from the field, consolidate this information and report these problems to the appropriate teams.
    - Assist other Field Service Engineers as directed in the region.
    - Provide exceptional customer service.
    - Support sales department with technical assistance.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Must】
    - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
    - At least 2 - 5 years' of experience in maintenance, service engineer (Electrical field) PCB, Electronic system, Automation background.
    - Able to work onsite 3 times/week
    - Good command of English
    - Someone who can work/travel individually and understand the culture or small company
    - Driving license and own a car

    【Advantage】
    - Have dealt with technical support in electrical and laser products / machinery
    - Experience with optical and electrical test methods in support of active fiber devices such as fiber amplifiers and lasers
    - Excellent electronics / electrical troubleshooting skills
    - Ability to strip, cleave and splice optical fibers is an added advantage
