  • Job Description

    • Ability to deliver key strategic outcomes.
    • Lead commercial negotiations and negotiation of legal documentation across multiple countries and business structures.
    • Extensive stakeholder management both internal and external.
    • Minimizing risk through negotiation of legal documentation that protects Group Hospitality rights and limits exposure, obligations under the agreement.
    • Responsible for the negotiation and renewal and protection of existing hotel/business unit contracts where they expire or the contract is available with vacant possession on sale.
    • Considers the business as a whole, seeks out ways to protect the business interests, seeks out new growth opportunities and considers leverage points to seek out further sustainable income streams.
    • Provides leadership, guidance and direction, support and mentoring to the team ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and results are achieved to timelines, KPIs and budgets.
    • Protects and enhances value in assets that have been acquired.
    • Ensures regular contact and communication is delivered by the team to ensure that the relationships are maintained and grown to deliver greater results and growth for the network.
    • Rapidly agrees deal structures, negotiating parameters and fall-back positions with relevant colleagues.
    • Generates creative structures and mechanisms to deliver deals without adding unnecessary complexity.
    • Provides quick and accurate assessments of business opportunities, ensures early consensus on business projections.
    • Works effectively with colleagues to rapidly filter opportunities and establish appropriate prioritization of projects.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    • Bachelor Degree in Commerce, hospitality, property, and/or law
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry
    • Experience and knowledge of franchise regulations in different countries
    • Experience with interpreting and negotiating various types of contracts and agreement not limited to management, leases and franchising
