  • Job Description

    1. Managing all supply concerns under the control of their team and report to Section Manager, Mentor and Support Supply Chain team buyers.
    2. Supervise all Supply Chain activities and help support team to achieve their KPI’s.
    3. Monitoring and leading team to action supplier performance reviews, supplier capacity reviews, tooling capacity/tool life reviews etc.
    4. Support team when required with supplier meetings and supplier visits both local and international to build and maintain good business relationships with suppliers.
    5. Record accurate information and prepare timely reports as necessary.
    6. Assess performance and conduct annual appraisal of team members based on agreed objectives.
    7. Support Logistics department & Third Part Logistics companies to monitor shipments to ensure timely receipt of parts.
    8. Ensure all team members always work safely and comply with applicable SHE legal and other requirements.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Male / Female ; Age 32-38 years old
    - Bachelor degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields.
    - At least 6-7 years experienced in Purchasing and supply chain [Direct material]
    - Have experience in automotive manufacturing 5 years up.
    - 2-3 years working in a chief or supervisor level and have experience to work with oversea suppliers.
    - Experience working with a multinational organization in a manufacturing environment would also be an advantage.
    - Excellent written and spoken English is important.
