  - Download specific device programs and test point of sale (credit card) terminals and associated peripheral devices
  - Handle device programming of supported device types and software via dial modem, IP communication or direct download from another device or PC
  - Ensure that, once programmed, the POS terminal is able to accept transactions
  - Ensure that appropriate merchant information displays properly on the receipts printed
  - Troubleshoot various types of file issues according to departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
  - Issue, include but are not limited to, failed credit/debit, failed gift card, registration or activation, settlement, incorrect address/name on receipts, incorrect injection type, and invalid application/profile phone number
  - Track and document client issues in the online management ticketing system and is responsible for timely follow-ups
  - Assist in the completion of special projects and other duties as required
