The General Manager – Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing all operational functions to ensure alignment with corporate strategy, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
This role focuses on workforce management, cost control, service quality improvement, client relationship management, and organizational development while driving operational performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Operations Management
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company policies and business goals
- Oversee and control operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with standards
- Identify operational risks, analyze root causes, and implement preventive solutions
2. Workforce & Resource Management
- Plan workforce allocation to ensure adequate staffing aligned with workload demands
- Oversee recruitment planning in accordance with contractual staffing requirements
- Develop training programs and build employee capabilities across all levels
3. Financial & Cost Control Management
- Prepare annual operational budgets and monitor cost performance
- Control operational expenses including labor, chemicals, equipment, and machinery costs
- Manage asset utilization and safeguard company resources
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare monthly and annual operational performance reports
- Monitor KPIs related to service delivery, operational efficiency, and cost performance
- Evaluate subordinate performance through probation and annual reviews
5. Client Relationship & Service Quality
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular meetings and visits
- Address client feedback, complaints, and service improvement opportunities
- Ensure contract service obligations are fulfilled across all branches
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Ensure operational alignment across all business units
7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency
- Promote continuous learning and training initiatives
- Lead monthly operational meetings
8. Compliance & Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain occupational safety and health standards
- Monitor workplace safety to minimize accidents and incidents
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Zero contract cancellations due to service quality
- Customer complaints ≤ 3 cases/month and resolved within 3 days
- Operational cost control within budget
- 100% contract service coverage across all branches
- Zero workplace accidents or safety incidents
- High customer satisfaction ratings

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of management experience in large-scale organizations
- Strong experience in workforce management and operations leadership
- Excellent knowledge of service operations and customer management

- Ability to conduct presentations and training sessions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
