Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and well-connected PR Specialist to lead our public relations efforts in Thailand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional media, preferably with experience as a journalist or editor at a news agency or newspaper. You will be responsible for managing external agencies, coordinating press releases, and building strong media relationships to enhance our brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute local PR strategies aligned with business goals.
· Collaborate with external PR agencies to draft, review, and distribute press releases and other media materials.
· Leverage existing media relationships, especially with traditional outlets (newspapers, TV, radio, news agencies), to secure positive coverage.
· Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports on PR campaign performance.
· Act as the company’s spokesperson when needed, handling media inquiries and interview requests.
· Manage crisis communications and protect brand reputation.
· Coordinate with internal marketing and communications teams to ensure message consistency.
· Stay up to date with local media trends and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
Requirement
· Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
· 8–10 years of PR, media, or journalism experience in Thailand.
· Experience collaborating with PR agencies to publish articles and announcements.
· Established network of local media contacts across print, broadcast, and digital news platforms.
· Thai: Native level (written and verbal); English: Professional proficiency (written and verbal).English Level
