• Job Description

  - Be accountable for all matters relating to implement of Health, Safety and Environment in Company
  - Perform safety audits, risks assessment and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and
  correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance
  - Investigate accidents (LTA, WLTA, First aids), near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities
  - Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety
  awareness, and improve safe work practices
  - Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as Fire drill, First aids, Safety risks analysis, Log-out Tag-out, safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment
  - Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary
  changes
  - Coordinate employee safety programs to determine their adequacy including review of short and long term
  strategic safety planning and development
  - Ensures that all front-line people and operation are notified of, trained in, fully understand and implement the
  requirements of the HS&E Policy, procedures and/ or system management for HS&E
  - Ensure that hazards are identified with the remedial action and/ or proposed solution is taken to eliminate risk and where necessary bringing the matter to the attention of the stake holders and upper managers
  - Ensures that induction training program in relation to HS&E are being carried out
  - Initiates and facilitates to arrange occupational safety, health and environment training
  - Completes timely and accuracy of incident reports, e.g. investigation, identifying immediate and root causes,
  corrective and preventative actions and the completion of all required reports and other safety related reports as required
  - Communicates accident prevention information to all employees under his or her control and takes steps to verify that the information is understood
  - Coordinates the HS&E management programs and/ or external audit as corporate’s strategy
  - Oversees disposal of substances according to environmental standard or regulations
  - Intervenes to stop any acts or processes which are unsafe or do not comply with OHS standard or guidelines
  - Monitors the effective HS&E performance of the Business (including contractors and subcontractors)
  - Sets a budget for safety activities and manage effectively
