• Job Description

  - Responsible for the management of all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects from initial calculations to final figures
  - Seek methods to minimise the costs of project and enhance values for money while still achieving the required standards and quality
  - Ensure statutory building regulations are complied and involve in projects from the start (visiting the site with architects and preparing estimation, costs etc.)
  - Forecast the cost of different materials required for the project (price) and select and/or source construction materials
  - Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other necessary documents
  - Track changes in design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
  - Procure or agree on the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who are responsible for the construction project
  - Evaluate and measure work done on site and settle payment with subcontractors
  - Liaise with clients and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
