  Junior Purchasing are responsible for assuring timely product delivery and product availability for interior jobsr. They are generally expected to develop and maintain vendor relations. This includes regularly monitoring vendor pricing, availability, and terms. They also calculate, monitor and analyze current inventory levels and place purchase orders as needed. Junior buyers often work closely with departments such as quality control to resolve vendor return issues and reconcile vendor returns as needed. Junior buyers may be expected to attend conferences and trade shows to develop new vendor relations and stay on top of industry trends and offerings.
