  - Source potential suppliers and negotiate with suppliers of direct and indirect materials relating to the purchasing of automotive parts in terms of quality, price, terms and conditions (e.g. AHSS, purchased parts, spare parts of machine and equipment or general purchasing)
  - Deal with suppliers and other requirements
  - Implement and coordinate in contracts, control supplier performance and annual audit
  - Perform price benchmarking and maintain strategic cost reduction
  - Prepare the relevant sourcing information and documents for presentation
  - Coordinate with engineering and other departments to support the development of new model
  - Manage procedures of purchasing process and apply sourcing strategies to support the organization’s policy
  - Evaluate the documentation (e.g. vendor information, requisitions, change orders bids etc.) for the purpose of ensuring proper use of district funds in the acquisition of suppliers, equipment and/or services
