The Service Engineer is responsible for providing after-sales service, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for security-related products such as electric door locks, CCTV systems, and other electronic devices. This role also involves equipment repair, documentation, spare parts planning, and ensuring that service operations comply with company quality standards (e.g., ISO).
After-Sales Service & Technical Support
- Provide after-sales service including Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Emergency Maintenance (EM).
- Offer consultation, answer inquiries, and resolve technical issues for customers under service contracts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot product-related problems for systems such as electric door locks, CCTV, and other devices.
Maintenance, Repair & Spare Parts Management
- Maintain, service, and repair equipment, components, and accessories as required.
- Coordinate and follow up on repair items to ensure efficient turnaround time.
- Plan and manage spare parts and tools needed for service operations accurately and completely.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and complete service-related documentation, including:
- Inspection Checklists
- Service Summary Reports
- Equipment information
- Repair and return reports
- Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
Quality Compliance & Process Adherence
- Perform tasks in compliance with company policies, supervisor instructions, and the organization's quality systems (e.g., ISO).
- Ensure all service activities meet company standards and customer expectations.
Continuous Learning & Product Knowledge
- Regularly update technical knowledge of assigned products.
- Participate in internal training sessions with the Product Team.
- Stay informed about new technologies, tools, and service methods.
Other Duties
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, or after-sales service is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of electronic devices, security systems, or access control systems.
- Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions on-site.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Able to travel to customer sites as required.
