  • Oversee a function of cashier operation in sale floor area and establish a cashier policy and which support to sale floor area.
  • Review and check accuracy of all POS reports and to provide support and guidelines pertaining to finance matters. Ensure that reports are prepared in accordance with established finance standards and statutory requirements.
  • Conduct audit (checks) on all modes of payment received from cashiers such as cash, foreign currencies, gift vouchers (including suppliers’ vouchers)
  • Cash Control:-
  - Responsible for the safe-keeping of cash and gift vouchers
  - Facilitate money-change and pack coins for cashiers
  - Update cashiers of any forged currency to prevent loss
  - Maintain high standard of cash counting procedures
  - Facilitate cash between company and banks and/or custodian.
  - Control foreign currency gain / loss
  - Preparation of cash and coins for (cashier) exchange and vouchers for Business Development (Outdoor Sales)
  - Daily balancing of gift vouchers and maintain gift voucher system
  - Prepare and check new float for promotion events
  • Consolidate / finalize reports on daily Cash (takings), Foreign Currency and Gift Vouchers.
  • Prepare daily report on gift vouchers for Customer Service Center; and prepare report on any adjustment made for cash, foreign currency and vouchers.
  • Resolve all discrepancy from cashiers.
