  • Guarantee the safety of his/her personnel by wearing their Personal Protective Equipment
  • Quality Work
  • Provide preventive and corrective maintenance to equipment
  • Comply with the maintenance program (weekend program)
  • Maintain 5’s in Maintenance area
  • Comply with our Maintenance Program (work orders, preventive maintenance through proper system)
  • Root cause analysis and solve problems that impact production, quality and manufacturing
  • Tracking and improvement of work indicators (KPI)
  • Guarantee the safety of his personnel, by correcting unsafe acts and conditions
  • Comply with the personnel management role (vacations, over time, movements, leave of absence, reports for the payroll area, etc.)
  • Support the correction of complaints from customers (action plans, 8D´s), related to Maintenance
  • Supervise employees assigned to the Maintenance Department of in repair, maintenance, and replacement installation
  • Plan and delegate maintenance tasks, based on priority of work and available staffing and skills (Goal will be to set up MLS system to help with this process)
  • Coordinate maintenance activity with production schedules and coordinate maintenance scheduling with external suppliers and contractors
  • Prepare final reports for shutdowns
  • Coordinate outside contractor projects
  • Support the TPM/PM Coordination in the preventive maintenance system
  • Ensure necessary tools, materials, and equipment are available for maintenance projects
  • Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely acquisition of maintenance parts. Manage parts inventory
  • Conduct/coordinate technical and administrative training for members of the Maintenance Department
  • Guarantee the observation of quality, environmental, and safety systems, norms, policies and regulations
  • Encourage professional development among the members of the team
  • Complete administrative paperwork required of performance evaluation process and progressive discipline process

  • Maintain and preserve the tooling sets in good conditions
  • Promote personal development through the Growth and Development System
  • Update the spare part stock
  • Maintain & update TS/EMS/OHSAS documents
  • Update checklist/WI as require
