  [Job Overview]
  We are seeking an experienced legal professional to assume a position supporting Thai +α region in APAC of Sumitomo Electric. You will report to and work directly with the General Counsel of SEI Thai Holding, interface with a variety of legal department and business unit members in Thailand, Japan and other countries, and communicate with law firm to handle the case. This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand but will also support countries in APAC region.
  
  [Responsibilities and Duties]
  1.Research: Provide timely and targeted legal and factual research.
  2.Regulatory: Review and develop understanding of national and regional regulatory regimes that will have an impact on the SEI group companies.
  3.Drafting and Review: Draft and review training materials, substantive presentations, contractual provisions, letters, memoranda and other written communications and agreements. Understand SEI's form contracts and local market requirements.
  4.Legal Analysis: Read and analyze statues, regulations, and legal documents in Thai and English.
  5.Compliance: Work with compliance liaisons of group companies and advise leadership and management on compliance matters including anti-bribery, competition, data protection, whistleblowing, etc. Develop and provide employee training on compliance policies and practices. Identify, investigate and report compliance issues, irregularities and violations.
  6.Special Projects: Work with the member of legal department on special projects that enhance to efficiency and responsiveness of the department.
  7.Law suits: Support labor disputes, criminal cases or other legal desputes.
