  ** Purpose of Job : Responsible for the efficient and effective running of the Company’s engineering functions including
  - Lead the RFQ & DFM process from pre-quotation phase through post-quotation phase and manage the project milestones up to successful SOP.
  - New mould testing, FA submission and mould qualification
  - On-going process engineering improvement and tooling maintenance
  
  ** Principal job responsibilities **
  
  1. Project Management
  a) Prepare feasibility study & DFM process from pre-quotation phase.
  b) Collaborate with other Teams and manage new projects to meet customer’s first article and mould qualification requirements.
  c) Set up proper mould test procedure and ensure its consistent application for all new mould testing.
  d) Collate accurate mould test data from a stabilized and reliable moulding process and use these as a basis to provide Tooling Department with accurate information for tooling correction.
  e) Collaborate with mould maker and designer to carry out dimension improvement on new mould.
  f) Achieve mould qualification within a maximum of 3 tests.
  g) Achieve customer deadlines 100% of the time.
  
  2 Process Engineering
  a) Cost Improvement - Continually review and cut process cost through process efficiency, cycle time improvement, material efficiency and product quality.
  b) Engineering Change - Review and approve Engineering Change Request, advise impact on tooling, tooling modification, part disposition, BOM update and issuing Internal and Customer Change Note.
  c) Maintenance - Manage mould repair and maintenance activities to support production schedule and customer quality specifications at minimum maintenance cost.
