  - Responsible for the design and development of new products and process
  - Cost optimization and product maintenance initiatives
  - Complete technical reports and presentations of various R&D activities to R&D Manager
  - Develop product and process standards and specifications for new products
  - Give information of product labelling and prepares necessary documentation to aid government label approval process
  - Conduct testing and recommend optimum utilization of plant materials, ingredients, packaging materials, equipment and labor in the manufacturing of existing products.
  - Source new or alternative ingredients and/or suppliers that will promote quality, growth and profitability of existing product offerings
  - Review materials and related tasks for export products (EU market)
