  • Job Description

    - Responsible for handling an entire range of equipment for electronic and mechanical issues jointly with mechanical service engineers (mainly providing after-sales service to customers specializing in mechanical field)
    - Responsible for preparing for upcoming installation projects and proceeding on under warranty services of machine installation based in Thailand and A/P
    - Responsible for the management of customer relationships for those customers with FoodTech product lines based in Thailand or A/P as well as other areas nearby as appropriate
    - Coordinate with customers concerning spare parts and boost up sales of spare parts for FoodTech product line and provide technical support such as inspection, maintenance visits, etc. covering FoodTech products
    - Act as customer’s main contact for any queries or assistance for JBT machine (all project/product line from those customers in the covering areas)
    - Responsible for maintaining performance and calibration, modification of JBTC’s FoodTech machine
    - Works closely with relevant JBTC departments to assure maintenance of good communication from customers' sites to JBTC
    - Train customers in operation and/or maintenance of FPSD products through formal and informal training programs
    - Assist customers in resolving problems and questions by providing competent advice, guidance and support via various media and/or site visits
    - Responsible for proper and timely submission of required reports to JBTC and customer representatives for leased machinery and service contracts
    - Responsible for the management of customers visits in a timely and cost-effective manner (preparing arrangement for travel)
    - Complete standardized processes and procedures to effectively provide outstanding service to our customers and encounter threats from our competitors
    - To be familiarized with the processes and procedures contained in relevant maintenance procedures
    - Attend meetings and training as required to stay abreast of future FoodTech related equipment
    - Participate in the production of an annual development plan and initiate action to implement the plan for continuous self-improvement
    - Become familiar and ensure compliance with JBTC FoodTech safety policies and guidelines as they apply to the role
    - Become familiar and ensure compliance with customer’s safety policies and procedures as applicable
    - Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Male or Female, Thai national, age between 25-30 (prefer Male)
    - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Mechatronic field
    - Having minimum 5 years' work experience in working with equipment in food, pharmaceutical or chemical industry as a service engineer or a maintenance engineer in process industry
    - Should be willing to travel and be away from home for an extended period
    - Ability to travel (85%) and work at flexible hours as the job may require
    - Good command of written and spoken English
    - Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suites, etc. (other computer programmes will be an advantage)
    - Having a private car and a valid Driving Licence
    - Self-independent as well as teamwork-oriented
