Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION
- Run efficiently the different development and laboratory activities of colour business
- Responsible for all primary importance tasks of Color Service Center in the laboratory department and remote Color Service Center in Asia Pacific, i.e., colour matching, quality control, laboratory request, sample request, complaint, pigment evaluation, and research & development
- Contribute to the global support for colour technology development group

RESPONSIBILITY
- Supervise, staff and provide training for colour section personnel, including hiring
- Supervise and coordinate the different activities related to colour business of APAC including remote locations
- Fully responsible for colour service centre housekeeping supervision
- Supervise quality control of finished products and raw materials including establishing methods of reporting data
- Coordinate and supervise contacts with suppliers on a technical basis
- Evaluate customer’s complaints and make recommendations to eliminate reoccurrence
- Ensure a good flow and a good service to customer’s technical requests
- Build and maintain colour computer database for both local and global level
- Build and maintain inventory of raw material used for colour matching
- Coordinate and supervise for laboratory equipment, maintenance, calibration and new equipment requirement
- Maintain abreast of new developments in materials, equipment and industry practices to assume the maintenance of a superior competitive position
- Encourage safety and search for possible safety hazards and correct potential safety problems on a timely basis; ensure that all state and province laws are implemented and enforced
- Safeguard Ampacet property and setting up and maintaining security policies
- Collaborate with other corporate laboratories in the World to optimise resources utilization, e.g., pigment evaluation, colour matching, OEM project implementation, etc.
- Provide global support for colour technology development group
- Implement and maintain ISO 9001 or other Quality Management Systems
- Manage the individual and company objective efficiently
Required Qualifications - Male or Female, Thai national, age between 35-45
- Bachelor's Degree (4 years in University) or Master's Degree in Science or Engineering, majored in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemist, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in colour Masterbatch functions or plastic industry with manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years' experience in management position
- Experienced in supervising and coaching team
- Experienced in international environment
- Strong background and some years' experience in MB industry
- (must) Excellent English communication skills, specifically in spoken and written
- Capability to speak/communicate in any other regional languages such as Chinese, Thai, Japanese would be an added advantage
- Good technical knowledge to understand technical issues and product range with respect to customer requirement and ability to provide them with an apt solution
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent in initiative thinking skills
- Familiar with multi-country, multilingual teams
- Able to work and manage cross-functional project teams
- Ready to travel to Asia Pacific area (50%)
- Good personality and should have good abilities in business and marketing analysis
- Excellent service mind with good attitudes and willingness to work under pressure or limitation of available resources
