    Summary:
    Oversees all salon and spa services and ensures that the salon is clean, organized and well-staffed. Have to routinely report to the owner on information such as revenue, budget needs, staffing changes, clientele satisfaction, inventory issues and salon upkeep.

    Detail:
    Customer service
    • Managing client appointments.
    • Keep up with the demand of clients.
    • Managing salon personnel.
    • Ensure staff is well trained in service etiquette and that high standards are maintained
    • Welcoming and greeting customers who come to the store.
    • Resolving guest complaints or issues.
    • Ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness within the salon.
    Sales Management
    • Setting targets for the beauty therapists.
    • Selling beauty products and treatments.
    • Analysing weekly and monthly sales figures.
    • Organising promotion and marketing campaigns.
    • Driving turnover and profits.
    Finance Management
    • Controlling salon expenses.
    • Managing and forecasting retail stock levels.
    • Keep and maintaining documentation to submit to accountant each month
    HR Management
    • Managing, motivating and training a small team of Stylists and assistants
    • Ensuring that shop rules are followed
    • Maintaining fun professional working environment
    • Identifying staff training requirements.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    • Retail Management (at least 3 years) *Important
    • Experience of being in a customer facing role.
    • Knowledge of modern cuts, Matrix colors and perms.
    • Proven track record of delivering high standards.
    • Ability to generate new sales.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Physically fit and able to remain standing for long periods of time.
    • A can-do attitude, entrepreneurial mind-set and strong determination to succeed.
    • Always maintaining a professional appearance and a positive attitude. *Important
    • Highly organized and motivated.
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Basic Microsoft Office
    • Have good understanding of numbers
