Job Description
[Key Responsibilities]Data Acquisition and Curation:- Research and acquire high-quality geospatial data, including administrative boundaries, Points of Interest (POIs), and related attributes like population and income- Clean and fix geospatial data for accuracy and consistency, addressing issues like self-intersection, invalid geometries, and duplicationData Management and Integration:- Ingest geospatial data into storage systems and export it in various formats (CSV, GeoJSON, ESRI Shapefile) as needed- Develop or maintain scripts and tools to automate data processing and quality checksCollaboration and Problem-Solving:- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve geospatial data issues- Proactively contribute solutions and improvements to optimize data workflows and qualityContinuous Learning:- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the geospatial field- Explore and experiment with new tools and libraries to enhance efficiency and capabilities
