    Job Summary
    This position is responsible for leading the Continuous Improvement in the plant according to the operations excellence model and ensuring the sustainability of solutions implemented. Propose improvement action plans for the plant. Ensure the communication on-site about the Continuous Improvement initiatives. Ensure the link between the plant and zone regarding the Continuous Improvement issues. Contribute to the improvement of operations model.

    Job Description and Responsibilities
    ■ Make a diagnosis of current state of Continuous Improvement of Company based on training.
    ■ Prioritize main areas for improvement with General Manager, Manufacturing Manager and other concerned managers.
    ■ Coordinate the action plans for the different areas.
    ■ Lead weekly meetings with General Manager/Manufacturing Manager to review progress.
    ■ Prepare training plans for all levels to enhance Continuous Improvement knowledge.
    ■ Develop a culture of employee empowerment to encourage employees to suggest improvement actions for their areas.
    ■ Set the performance objectives for the Continuous Improvement team.
    ■ Manage and supervise engineers or technicians to achieve the target of Continuous Improvement.
    ■ Appraise direct reports during performance review periods. Align development and training plans for them. Coach and mentor key people. Recognize performance and give sanctions when appropriate.
    ■ Lead communication activities to inform all levels at company about Continuous Improvement activities and progress in other plants.
    ■ Implement and help develop the new “Company Production System”.
    ■ Flow down and cascade global information to staff.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    ■ Nationality Thai / Male or Female
    ■ Age 35-42 years old
    ■ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
    ■ More than 10 years of experience in continuous improvement, cost-saving, project management and leading initiatives/projects in the multi-national manufacturing company.
    ■ At least 5 years in the management level.
    ■ Fluent in English.
    ■ Good in MS Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    ■ Background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Kaizen is preferable.
    ■ Solid technical knowledge in Chemical laboratory and Instrument calibration.
    ■ Capacity to train every hierarchical level in the plant on the continuous improvement.
    ■ Having analytical skills to quantify the potential improvement in industrial performance or cost.
