Qualifications

• Requirement

  - Male/Female, age 35-45 years old.
  - Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in Merchandising management, Economics, Business, Trading, Accounting, Finance or related fields.
  - Minimum 10-15 years experiences as professional buyer in mid-to-large size company, ideally international corporation with manufacturing function in Hard Disk Drive, Semiconductor or Electronics industry.
  - Vendor management skills and Commodity knowledge for purchasing raw material, consumable, equipment and or packing material in above market.
  - Knowledge for trade and logistics.
  - Information gathering and analytical skills.
  - Build strong relationship with colleague and vendors.
  - Global experience and perspective are essential
  - Experience working in multi-cultural organizations, ideally in Asia
  - Works well independently and with a team
  - Candidate must be bright, creative, self-motivated and results-oriented with an ability to operate with a high sense of urgency.
  - Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  - Experience with ERP Systems.
  - Experience with Web-based and/or e-Commerce systems.
  - Flexibility of work length (5 workdays/week with outside business hour tasks).
  - Flexibility to business trip primarily within Asia.
  - Fluent English in both verbal, written communication and presentation skill.
  - Chinese speaker is much preferable because of many Overseas Chinese suppliers.
