  • Job Description

    1.Stakeholder’s engagement:
    - Create and implement stakeholder’s engagement activities for Herbalife that improve the perception, reputation and market positioning of the company.
    - The position will be the main point-of-contact for all media related activities for the company in country.
    - Actively develop, coordinate and create content for product/publicity efforts, including press releases, editorial calendar opportunities, news story idea pitches, and media query responses.
    - Facilitate subject matter expert preparation and scheduling for interviews and briefings (eg. Doctors, nutritionist).
    - Identify best practices and develop local activities to leverage global, regional and country sponsorships.
    - Work with PR agency to manage public relations and other relevant agencies to ensure accuracy of messaging.
    2.Messaging and Content:
    - Support department’s efforts to create communications content, branding and messaging that can be used effectively with various external and internal stakeholders, including social media channels.
    - This will include fact sheets, award applications, corporate presentations etc.
    3.Media relations; work with PR agency
    - Drive, develop, implement and execute innovative media relations programs in country.
    - Create and drive the media relations strategy and positioning for the company and its products ensuring all media relations are delivered on-message.
    - Responsible for day to day management of media relations whilst also maintaining an active, ongoing dialogue with internal clients to best identify/manage media opportunities.
    - Work effectively with internal stakeholders across the company to align all communications output with the strategic direction of the business.
    - Establish and maintain a proactive partnership with journalists and publications across all new and traditional media channels in leading general, business, lifestyle, trade and broadcast media covering the Asia Pacific region facilitating all reactive and proactive media publicity opportunities.
    - Identify and maximize opportunities to profile company’s industry, brand, market and product leadership and new initiatives
    - Plan and execute the organizations event calendar driving all media events.
    - Evaluate and track the company’s media relations activity.
    4.Digital and Social Media:
    - Identify and take advantage of emerging digital and social media technologies to leverage the Herbalife’s activities.
    - Serve as head and point-of-contact for all social media activities.
    - Create strategy, content and budget for social media channels, and monitoring the use of social media tools to improve the company’s reputation and relationships and meet KPIs

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Male or Female , Thai Nationality, age 35-40 years old
    - Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business Management
    - At least 5-7 years solid track record in managing the full spectrum of communications in a multinational company
    - Working in a PR agency environment is beneficial.
    - Proficiency in verbal and written in English skill is required
    - Having experience and track record in media relations, stakeholder engagement and social media, the person will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of independence.
    - Superior communications ability, with highly developed English writing and editing skills. Proficiency in messaging and clear articulation of messages in all media
    - Both an analytical and creative mind accompanied by an ability to integrate input from multiple stakeholders while maintaining project schedules
    - Demonstrated success in making a positive impact on external audiences through the news media
    - Strong strategic focus as well as the confidence and credibility to advise country leaders.
    - Network of media contacts.
    - Familiarity with Internet and digital communication channels
    - Travel required
